I 'hate' those one-sided wireframes; the twisting, torque was always a distraction. I felt half the roller applied more paint than the other. As a product designer/mfgr for aircraft, this was a 10 min no-brainer. To make the mod I simply chopped 5cm of the box piece and 6cm off the flat one and re-drilled the set screws.You guys who paint for a living seem to love a wide roller, this schlub likes the old 9". I am stoked with the result ...and; this cheap b'tard does not have to buy all new pans and liners. Jim/Maryland
